You know its been a long time when..

I ALMOST FORGOT MY PRECIOUS PASSWORD! My deepest apologies about leaving you without my cheesiest of jokes. I know all of you just want to slap me! I decided to take a break from the world of work during the summer but I am definitely back to the normal often tedious schedule of mine.

As I roam the streets of Yorkville searching for a star during the Toronto International Film Festival I was reminiscing about walking the red carpet in Cannes. In other words we just posed for a photo, unfortunately not paparazzi! Oh how I wish I could just be back in France!

McDonalds

Again, you may ask? I swear I am eating more McDonalds here than in Canada! That’s another thing! Since this is a American program no one can grasp the concept that were from Canada! In think the most obscure question we have received as of yet would have to be “Have you ever kissed and Eskimo” our dear friend Sophia looked straight at us and questioned us with sincerity.

So yesterday we had an AMAZING DAY! No other way to put it. With a French class in the morning we spent the afternoon at the Rothschild mansion. A pink sight to see. The beautiful gardens rolled out for acres and we went a little obsessive with photos! After, in the small group of six we walked down to the breath-taking coast. But this was like no other; it was the clearest water we have seen so far! It was a small cove that was just perfect lounging in the water we avoided the eye contact of those who feel they need to be very open (if you know what I mean, we are in France, get it?).

Cette soir (that night) we went to one of the many cafes to do what? WATCH THE GAME! And who won? SPAIN! It was an incredible atmosphere to be in with fans cheering like crazy! Though the Germans who admittedly were very friendly had some tears in their eye.

Here’s a link to our twitter we just recently “retweeted” (a new concept for me) links to pictures and videos from the trip! Check them out let me know what you think so far! We haven’t heard from you in a while!

Breezie Breeze

Breathtaking. One word that’s its. That was my long-winded description of Nice, I’m sure you hate me for writing such a LONG post. Such a busy bee 24/7, forgive me if I get my days mixed up, and since the Internet is not fond of me I gave up in fating these. So I generalize. Here we go. Yesterday was our first complete day in France and hopefully we are living up the “la mode” (the fashion) should I teach you French!? YES!

We did a magnificent boat ride along the coast of Nice with a hilarious Italian narrator speaking French. With a cooling wind we spotted the houses of Elton John Birdget Bardot, Shawn Connery and Tina Turner! After we strolled to the beach and swam in the clear Mediterranean! We chose not to do the whole topless thing, aren’t you glad? So if 43the Internet permits, here are some pictures of our day!

From Across the World

Well I guess it depends were you live, doesn’t it? Arriving in Nice just hours ago and unpacking the luggage that was just the perfect weight, on the dot underweight and just the perfect heaviness that my shopping bag arms could not lift them up 3 flights of stairs. Our room has a picturesque view looking out to the gardens of the Lycee Massena Campus. We haven't toured much but the city is just waiting for us tomorrow. Since we were traveling today we decided not to post the unsightly photos of us but in stead the first photo’s of our trip.

As a side note:

We might be lacking on posts because we aren’t hacking! (Not funny?)

Yes thats right we have ify to say the least, internet. But as you see we are posting, weird eh?

Well if you must know we are in a mcdonalds! Wow never thought I would do that.

(Yet the food is "kind of" good) (don't lie we know you like it)

Au revoir!

Hi There :)

Don't you just hate it when you check your favorite blog every day and are just anticipating a new post full of insightful tips and there isn't one!? Well I do! So firstly I hope we are that favorite blog of your you constantly check. Secondly, I know you just loathe us now as we have been so lacking in posts! Truth is we are preparing for one of the biggest adventures of our lives so far. Running around like crazy clown and procrastinating the month long packing task are time is booked. Anyways if you are asking "So what are you packing essentials? SPILL!" Then you are in the right place! Below are some beauty products that were scouted on our MAJOR run to Shoppers Drug Mart and Sephora. You are never overly prepared to look stunning. Isn't it true! Anyway's here it goes:

Above is the miraculous hair duo from Ojon. Bought at Sephora, we decided to go with the Shine and Protect mini for compact traveling and healthy hair!

Now I know every one says this but protecting your skin is always important! We both purchased many cans of Neutrogena's Suncare Ultra sheer line.

So I know how I hate looking white or purple tinted on the face and hate the pealing after the sun so this is the Kiehl's essential I highly recommend. Vowla!

Those are just some thing shoved into our jammed pack luggage!

Congrats!

Following the footsteps of wonders such as Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani and Karl Lagerfield, John Galliano has received the prestigious Légion d'Honneur. It was given to him by the President of France, Sarkozy. A well designed honour for a true legend.

As we all know John Galliano is the designer of Dior, you do know that!? Anyways here are some of his creations from over the years with encompassing risk, style and elegance.

Post Game:
Who's team are you cheering for? The world cup is a time to shine in spirited colours!

Hats off to Ascot!

Hi There! Soo... Basically the Leithaly Girls are attached in one way or another to England, and well we love Hello Magazine UK. UK is the key, even though we are from Canada we are not fond of the Canadian Magazine ( Yes, Yes shame on us). Anyways, during the summer, held in England there is an annual horse race known as Ascot. It is a day that bad hair days are welcome as hats are the staple fashion item! If your interested in an art project below are some inspirations. All you need to do is aspire to THE most famous milliner Philip Treacy. His extraordinary pieces topped off the catwalks of Chanel, Valetino, Versace and appeared on the heads of Iman, Sarah Jessica Parker and Madonna!
Here are the marvelous photos taken at this years Ascot, Enjoy!

And here are Philip Treacy's "creations" there is no other name to call this pieces of art!

Ta Ta For Now!
