Don't you just hate it when you check your favorite blog every day and are just anticipating a new post full of insightful tips and there isn't one!? Well I do! So firstly I hope we are that favorite blog of your you constantly check. Secondly, I know you just loathe us now as we have been so lacking in posts! Truth is we are preparing for one of the biggest adventures of our lives so far. Running around like crazy clown and procrastinating the month long packing task are time is booked. Anyways if you are asking "So what are you packing essentials? SPILL!" Then you are in the right place! Below are some beauty products that were scouted on our MAJOR run to Shoppers Drug Mart and Sephora. You are never overly prepared to look stunning. Isn't it true! Anyway's here it goes:
Above is the miraculous hair duo from Ojon. Bought at Sephora, we decided to go with the Shine and Protect mini for compact traveling and healthy hair!
Now I know every one says this but protecting your skin is always important! We both purchased many cans of Neutrogena's Suncare Ultra sheer line.
So I know how I hate looking white or purple tinted on the face and hate the pealing after the sun so this is the Kiehl's essential I highly recommend. Vowla!
Those are just some thing shoved into our jammed pack luggage!

Congrats!
Following the footsteps of wonders such as Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani and Karl Lagerfield, John Galliano has received the prestigious Légion d'Honneur. It was given to him by the President of France, Sarkozy. A well designed honour for a true legend.
As we all know John Galliano is the designer of Dior, you do know that!? Anyways here are some of his creations from over the years with encompassing risk, style and elegance.
Post Game:
Who's team are you cheering for? The world cup is a time to shine in spirited colours!

Hats off to Ascot!
Hi There! Soo... Basically the Leithaly Girls are attached in one way or another to England, and well we love Hello Magazine UK. UK is the key, even though we are from Canada we are not fond of the Canadian Magazine ( Yes, Yes shame on us). Anyways, during the summer, held in England there is an annual horse race known as Ascot. It is a day that bad hair days are welcome as hats are the staple fashion item! If your interested in an art project below are some inspirations. All you need to do is aspire to THE most famous milliner Philip Treacy. His extraordinary pieces topped off the catwalks of Chanel, Valetino, Versace and appeared on the heads of Iman, Sarah Jessica Parker and Madonna!
Here are the marvelous photos taken at this years Ascot, Enjoy!
And here are Philip Treacy's "creations" there is no other name to call this pieces of art!
Ta Ta For Now!

M.I.A.
Missing in action this weekend Vivienne was attending a Championship Gymnastics Competition. Competing in Rhythm I am SO happy to say that her team were the winners! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL! As well on Sunday the lucky bum was being photographed in a promotion shoot! Proofs to hopefully come!
So while she was doing an amazing job dancing and doing tricks, on Friday I attended a Teen Pre Party at the GEE beauty salon. It was a successful event where they taught us the importance of your beauty regiment. With demonstrations each girl cleaned, scrubbed, toned, zapped and moisturized there lovely and radiant faces using the Dermalogica's Clean Start. After they were treated to make up applications and lessons! A fabulous first day to summer!
Next on the weekends stop was an Honors Evening I attended remembering the 50's musical I was in Bye Bye Birdie. Swooning over the main character the talented musician Conrad Birdie. I thought you may enjoy these crazy faces and 50's poodle skirts and costumes!
Attending the awards ceremony I came dressed to impress! I wore a Marc by Marc Jacobs Shirt, Robert Rodriguez Skirt and since My Mum convinced me "comfort first" I walked in, in flats!
Hope you enjoyed my long winded post!

Say What!?
Before I begin can I just say there is 2 (yes 2!) hours of school separating us from summer! WOW! Apologizes if you are jealous but I feel that you should be just a tiny bit envious. Its summer, not a pair of Louboutins. I now we haven't officially announced this but guess what!?
Ok Ok I cracked. The Leithaly Girls are voyaging to France! Where you might ask NICE! To say we are excited is an understatement! We are thrilled, exhilarated and any other possible synonyms you can think of. We will be studying French in the morning as our major and in the afternoon our elective is kind of up in the air, but currently Vivienne is taking French conversation and Alyana will be taking Studio Art. To continue on this artsy point, our talented friend Devyn of Arbitrarily Voguish has posted photos of the work she has created and was ever so kind to let Alyana snap some attempted "artsy" photos.
The Girlies on the first day of Sailing!
What a long post eh? Anyways, the Leithaly Girls really have not discussed their pasts to much. But we have known each other since we started Kindergarten (for those of you who are not Canadian its a "sort" of preschool). We have done about everything together, I don't think you can even begin to imagine! After graduating from our elementary school Mabin we went on and spent two summers sailing together on the beautiful waters of British Colombia. I should admit we tipped just a few times and OH YES, there was that boy in an unflattering "Big Bird Yellow", full on rain suit Vivienne was happy to sail with and rescue out of the water when he "accidentally" capsized their boat. What a mouth full or is that just the left over seawater? (Did you laugh!? Its punnnyyy). To put it simply we are each other’s Red Sole Supports (if you don't know what that means DO SOME RESEARCH) we are sturdy and never break on each other’s pressure with a perfect fit we just click together. So this is just another journey to add to the list of adventures we go on together! We will be happily posting from France with (hopefully) daily updates and fashion faux pas'.

On your Marc
Get set Go! Sorry to cliche? Anyways after blogging for a while I cant believe we have never mentioned this before! The Leithaly Girls are head over heals CRAZZYYYYYYY for Marc by March Jacobs. Let us re - iterate, we love his unique creations and all that is his kilt. Making the world better one fashion item at a time! Since that is off our conscious, here are some heavenly outfits via ShopBop. One of the Leithaly favorites for online browsing or addicting shopping!
Enjoy the eye candy!

Saving the planet, one cute bikini at a time!
Girls, its time! For bikinis shopping that is. With all the stress over saving our beautiful environment, the fashion industry is starting to catch on. British designer Katharine Hamnett recently launched her Summer 2010 swimwear collection of eco-friendly summer attire, and lets just say, their selling like Louboutins on sale! With a hint of adorable 50's style, these suits are sure to get you noticed! Katharine also created some scrumptious suits for the men, can you say eye candy?
Now on sale at Yoox.com, although the price is a little tiny bit steep, the suits are cute, and you'll be sure that your saving the environment while you soak up those precious summer rays.

Hang Ten?
Gracing the print of Vogue, Blake Lively chats about her surf life. A requirement for those string bikinis, she says that a toned body can be achieved by surfing! Flung 40 feet in the air she travels to the surf gurus to learn the skills. All I can say is get me a surf board! Or a body like that! (Either or will do)
